Join Chris' hosted lunch table: Leading through uncertainty
Following his talk on day one, join Chris to share current experiences and discuss how to get comfortable leading through ambiguity.
Design leaders have always been problem solvers and change makers. But now, more than ever, design leaders need to add the following skills to their repertoire: bringing clarity where there is uncertainty, projecting calm confidence where there is widespread anxiety and committing to doing the right thing by your team, your organisation and yourself.
To join this lunch table on Wednesday 8 February please sign up at the registration desk.
About Chris
Before he took over the reins at Clearleft, Chris had amassed decades of leadership experience. Chris was a serial CEO, first at TMW Unlimited, then at MRM.
Chris got his start at the famous advertising agency JWT where he began looking after clients and helping brands to grow. From there, he went on to become one of the founders of marketing agency HHP&B (Holder Henry Pearce and Bailey). After half a decade there, Chris co-founded the digital agency Blowfish. This was the late nineties, a time of banner ads and Flash intros.
Now Chris is helping to shape Clearleft’s vision for at least the next decade. As well as that, Chris is adept at plotting a path of growth for clients. He makes sure that they get just the right people on their projects.
We are operating with a backdrop of anxiety, stress and uncertainty. In order to navigate the future with confidence, we need to first face this reality. Chris will offer a set of guiding principles to address the leadership challenges we increasingly encounter.
