The ultimate multihyphenate, Johanna Evans is not just the VP of Product Design at Guru—she's an entrepreneur-design leader-visual artist-photographer-author-medical doctor. (You read that right—Johanna can pretty much do it all.) Whether it's leading a team with empathy so they can do their best work, creating delightful user experiences, or assembling a portfolio of her underwater photographs, Johanna relies on her ability to synthesize and capture the human condition. Before Guru, she co-founded PaperFlip and led SurveyMonkey's mobile initiatives.
Johanna began her career as an ICU and ER physician in her native Colombia. After relocating to the US, she received her BFA in product design and an MFA in photography. Her fine art work can be seen at the SFMOMA, UCLA, the New York Public Library, and in private collections.
