Lunchtime conversation: How can designers change the world?

A table by Ben Sheppard, Co-founder & Chair at Design for Good

None of the 17 United Nations goals is on track for 2030. The number of chief design officers in the 100 largest corporates has fallen from 40 to 24 in the last five years. Entry level design roles are at their lowest level in a decade.

It is easy for designers to feel disempowered and disengaged. Ben Sheppard, Co-founder and Chair at Design for Good, and author of the McKinsey Business Value of Design will lead a discussion about how designers can make a meaningful difference, both in their companies, and more importantly in the world around them.
